CompuNet, Inc. provides complete computer and networking solutions to small and medium sized businesses in Greenville, Spartanburg, and surrounding communities of upstate South Carolina.

CompuNet was established in 2002 by Bill Ernest, its President and Lead Guru.

Bill began working with computers just as the PC revolution began occurring in the late 1980’s. He has worked on every generation of PC from the early Z-80 CPM based models up through the latest computers on the market.

He started CompuNet, Inc. to bring large company computing expertise to small and medium sized businesses. Because most large businesses employ information technology professionals with expert knowledge of running reliable and cost effective computer systems and networks, they often had superior skills and responsiveness available to them.

Many small business owners told Bill of their frustration with existing computer and network service firms. Bill knew he could bring his philosophy of rapid service and large company expertise to small businesses so that they too could get the most out of their computer and network resources.
